“Every facial and treatment is bespoke, designed around the client’s skin’s unique needs.”
“After nearly a decade working as a Makeup Artist in the film and television industry, I quickly realised how essential skin health was to my work – and how complex and personal the journey to healthy skin can be. This turned into a deep passion, initially for my own wellbeing, then eventually leading and inspiring me to study so I could support others on their own skin journeys.
The fast-paced Film and Television industry can be very demanding which also showed me how easily work and life can fall out of balance. Over time (and eventually with two little energetic boys in tow), my values shifted toward a more grounded and intentional lifestyle, one that prioritises health, balance and connection. Starting Whole Beauty I was committed to, and it’s been a joy to, focus on weaving these values into my work, so much so it doesn’t very often feel like “work” to me which I know is a very lucky place to be.”
What’s one piece of advice you always come back to when life gets busy?
“When life feels too busy, I remind myself to slow down, simplify and gently notice what feels heavy or out of place. Then I gently strip back anything that isn’t truly adding value. It’s a returning to what’s most important to me and the people I love, and letting go of whatever doesn’t serve that – so I can save my energy for what matters the most.”
“What I love most is the chance to create something unique – a space and approach to beauty that wasn’t readily available when I moved here about three and a half years ago. It’s such a joy to build meaningful relationships with my clients, and because it’s a small community, our lives naturally weave together beyond the treatment room. It feels such a privilege to provide something that the locals really seem to appreciate.”
” The perfect morning in Waihi Beach begins waking up with my two little boys, then dropping them into the loving hands of their Granny and Poppa. From there, I meet my girlfriends at the beach – we sip coffee, watch the sunrise, and head out for a surf together. Those mornings leave my heart full, a beautiful blend of friendship, ocean, and the deep gratitude I feel for calling this place home.

What’s one must-do or must-visit experience you always recommend to someone new to Waihī Beach?
“The stunning walk to Orokawa, truly gorgeous”
