Stronger Together at Litore Fit

Litore Fit Studio is where workouts meet community in the heart of Waihī Beach.

More than just a fitness space, it’s a supportive, high-energy hub where every age and fitness level is welcomed. From rhythm-filled spin to dynamic HIIT sessions, every workout is tailored to your effort for maximum results, zero intimidation, and all the fun.

Litore Fit Studio is also an official HYROX Training Club – with HYROX-trained coaches and dedicated HYROX training sessions right here at the beach. It’s something truly unique for a small town, with other affiliates in New Zealand only found in the big cities.

With passionate instructors, good music, and an atmosphere that feels like family, you’ll come for the sweat – and stay for the community.

“Litore Fit is a community of all ages and fitness levels who motivate each other like family.”

What inspired you to open Litore Fit here in Waihī Beach?

“We started our health and fitness studio to create more than just a place to train – we wanted a welcoming community where people feel supported, encouraged, and inspired. Health and fitness has always been a big part of our lives, and we’re passionate about helping others build strength, confidence and lasting health habits.”

For someone new, what’s the vibe of a Litore Fit class in three words?

Motivating, supportive, community.”

What’s one thing people are often surprised to learn about spin or HIIT when they try it for the first time?

“First-timers love our HIIT and spin classes because the technology makes every workout personal. It matches the challenge to your effort, so you get maximum results, zero intimidation – and you leave buzzing.”

What’s your favourite part about running a fitness studio in a small beach town compared to a big city?

“The people. Litore Fit is no longer just a spin and group fitness studio, it’s a community of people, of all ages and all fitness levels, who support and motivate each other like family.”

What’s your ideal way to spend a day off in Waihī Beach?

Spending time at the Beach with the kids, hiking the local trails, or family bike rides around the Beach and Bowentown. You’ll often catch us down at the tennis club hitting tennis balls on a day off as well.”

What’s your favourite local café or spot to grab a bite after a workout?

“Lils Bistro on the Main St opens early for us straight after spin to grab a coffee, and the Beach Deli on weekends after a trig walk! But really we try to support all the local places, we love where we live!”

What’s your go-to way to relax after teaching a tough class?

“After a tough class, we reset with contrast therapy – hot and cold immersion that leaves you recharged, refreshed and ready to do it all again. “

What’s one must-do experience you always recommend to someone visiting Waihi Beach for the first time?

“The walk from the North End of the Beach to Orakawa and Homunga! We have done lots of hiking (LOVE the Kaimais), but those sunrise walks to Orakawa and Homunga never disappoint!”
