Waihī Beach Community Events and Promotions is a small but passionate team with a big impact. We’re powered by volunteers who all share a love for Waihī Beach, supported by two part time funded coordinators who help bring our key events to life – including the Waihī Beach Summer Kick-Off Festival, the Great Waihī Beach Scavenger Hunt, and the Adult Easter Egg Hunt.

Alongside our events, we proudly manage the Waihī Beach Information Centre on Wilson Road. Staffed by knowledgeable local volunteers, the centre plays a vital role in welcoming visitors, sharing insider tips, and connecting people with the heart of our community.

Our main purpose is to promote Waihī Beach as a vibrant seaside village. Through our website and social channels, we showcase the beauty of the area and also happily share and support other locally run events and initiatives that contribute to the life of our community.

We may be small, but with the dedication of our volunteers and community spirit, we manage to achieve a lot – creating memorable experiences and celebrating all that makes Waihī Beach special.
